Currently, Apple Watch is only available in 9 countries: the United States, Britain, Japan, Germany, Canada, China, France, Hong Kong and Australia. Until now, no one knows which countries fall into this list in the second wave. Cook noted that the company follows the preference among customers watch models and noted that at the start of souped owners were available for more than 3500 applications for smart watches - more than for the iPad and iPhone in the day of their launch.
As the hype around new products is too high and the number of pre-orders exceeded the allowable number of hours in the warehouses for the first wave, Apple can only predict what the demand for them will be in the second wave.
We were able to put Apple Watch more customers over the weekend than we originally expected. In general, I am satisfied with the way we deal with it. Any new product, you can master, of course, a few more time than originally anticipated. Currently, we are confident that we will already be able to start selling Apple Watch for additional countries at the end of June.
- Tim Cook
If Apple will cope with the deficit by June, then a list of countries could seriously replenished. Who knows, maybe Russia will get it instantly brought down "gray" prices in more than two times?
