Now, about the success of Apple, which occupies the fifth place in the ranking of the largest suppliers of computers according to IDC. In the fourth quarter, the company from Cupertino shipped 5.75 million Macs against 4.84 million a year earlier. The growth was 18.9%, while market share reached 7.1%. About rivalry with Acer speech does not go, but in the future everything is possible.

It is noteworthy that the majority of sales were in the United States. At least, for HP and Apple: first sold in America 5,310,000, and the second 2.25 million computers. In this case, HP - the largest supplier of personal computers in the US, and Apple - the third.
