The new
10.5-inch iPad Pro will receive 2K-display, but it will keep the pixel density 9.7-inch model. This was reported by the director of IHS Markit on tablets and PCs Rhoda Alexander.
She told Forbes, that the iPad Pro 10,5 "resolution is 2,224 × 1,668 pixels at a pixel density of 264 PPI. The same figure for iPad Pro 9,7 "with a resolution of 2,048 × 1,536 pixels.
If so, then popular option Nest designer Dan Provost would be wrong. He believes that the new iPad Pro 10,5-inch may be the same resolution as that of 12.9-inch model (2732 x 2048), but the pixel density will fit iPad mini 4 (326 pixels / inch instead of 264 pixels / inch).
However, there is at least confirmed by mathematical calculations, and Alexander is in no way failed to prove his words. Let's wait for the spring presentation to dot the «i».
