Lenovo has disclaims brand Motorola and integrates their devices under a single brand Lenovo moto.
This publication reports Vedomosti, citing the head of Lenovo's mobile division in the region of Eastern Europe. The new smartphones will be presented on 26 February.
Lenovo bought Motorola Mobility from Google for $ 2.91 billion in 2014. According to the company, it ranks fourth in the supply of smartphones in the world (excluding China). The share of Lenovo in Russia amounted to 8% in the past year, not counting the brand Motorola. However, over the last year the share of Lenovo fell by 2.2%. As for Motorola, their smartphones occupied only 0.3% of the Russian market.
President Mildberry branding agency Oleg Beriev told that Lenovo joining forces with Motorola to create a unified brand Lenovo moto. The aim is to "blur the Chinese roots" and present itself as an international company.
Experts believe that such restructuring to nothing lead, as customers are not important to name and functionality. Let's see what happens.
