Apple granted patent on control iPhone via swipe at the iSight camera

Package Apple patents replenished every day, but the ones that are worth paying attention to the readers, are relatively few.

Today, it is the case that a patent really fascinated with their uniqueness.

Office for the registration of patents and trade marks USA today issued a document that describes the process of managing iPhone using the back camera iSight.
According to him during a conversation free of the index finger, hold out to the camera, we can swipe and force smartphone perform a series of commands. For example, take a picture or start recording voice.
Register for that meet specific gestures and swipe can be configured. Thus, the patent suggests that not only swipe the cell or along it will recognize the system as well and tapas on stёklyshku (single, double) will be responsible for specific commands.

Remains a curious fact that in the illustration to the document depicts the old iPhone 3G / 3GS and how relevant this may be a patent in the face of new technologies is unknown. And not so much because of the advanced new development, but because of the size altered iPhone. For example, to perform a swipe at the iPhone 5s is very difficult, it is necessary to intercept the device is higher than usual, the iPhone 6 is even more difficult, as we talk about the iPhone 6 Plus is not even worth it at all.

Perhaps this old illustration related to the fact that the patent is filed for consideration in the distant 2010 and bureaucratic patent office just delayed the process of renewal of the document
