In a newborn there are two iPhone

A little mathematics and record sales Apple.

Four years ago, Apple released a very amusing statistics. During the first quarter of 2012 the company managed to sell 37.04 million smartphones, which is 377 900 iPhone day. At that time, average daily global birth rate was 371,000 babies. Thus, on the one kid I accounted for slightly more than one iPhone.
In 2012 it was about models of iPhone 4S, 4 and 3GS. The company itself is named the new 4S «best-selling in the lineup." Time passed, and sales growth continued to beat all imaginable and unimaginable records.
At the end of last year, Apple announced sales results for 2015. And the numbers are impressive: 231 300 000 smart phones found their owners in 365 calendar days, which amounts to 633 900 iPhone a day. According to UN data daily average birth rate in the last year was around 360 thousand. On one baby already had the iPhone 1.76.
January 2016 was another record installation time for Apple. In the first quart of 2016 the company managed to sell 74.8 million smartphones. Middle Quarter has 91 calendar days, which means that every day of their owners found 821,978 iPhone (!). Weighing in at 172 grams with global counters "shipped" 141.38 tons smartphones every day.
When the daily average birth rate of 360 000 children each has sold 2.28 for iPhone.
And although it may seem a little strange compared to the fertility of the device, leaving with the American brand conveyor, so that Apple's all right with sales unlikely to argue.
