Reasons for partnership between the two big companies are in question.
Chinese collector SiP-modules Jiangsu Changjiang Electronics Technology, better known as JCET, won the right to supply
Apple systems SiP (System-in-Package) to the end of 2016. Company STATS ChipPAC, JCET bought this year, has received the necessary certificates for the production of Apple's chips. Now the number of partners involved in the assembly of SiP-modules for Apple, has increased to three. They were Murata, Universal Scientific Industrial (part of Advanced Semiconductor Engineering) and JCET.
Jiangsu Changjiang Electronics Technology works with the largest chip manufacturers. Apple's interest in cooperation with could speak of the need to obtain a large number of SiP-modules for future products. Currently, modules are used in Apple Watch. Perhaps, Apple is already beginning to plan for the production of Apple Watch 2, although there is a second option. It is less likely, but still valid and involves the use of modules such as System-in-Package not only in Apple Watch, but also in one of the future generations of iPhone.
