In the App Store there is a flood of software solutions in many colors and with a wide range of functionality.
For its part, Apple has warned: the installation of third-party keyboard potentially robs you of anonymity and confidentiality. Then, few people paid attention to this point. And just yesterday, there was a curious scandal connected with the work of one of the most popular keyboard SwiftKey.
One of the social network Reddit users faced with a situation that confirms that SwiftKey keyboard collects user data.
The SwiftKey, as in the standard keyboard from Apple, provides predictive dialing. As you type words, offered an alternative: in this way, you can greatly speed up the process of typing. When entering text author said that he offered words and whole sentences in German. At the same time he himself - the English media and never printed in German.
A few people are faced with SwiftKey more interesting situation: as alternative words floated email addresses unknown people. None of the users have never introduced such addresses.
Immediately after the publication of such complaints, the developers have suspended work SwiftKey some features of your product, and later gave a detailed and comment:

This week we have received several reports from our users, we note that the keyboard offers as options for predictive dialing unknown words and email addresses. We are working to resolve this issue.
Our users are in no danger, but for safety reasons, we have disabled sync with cloud storage up to the moment of removing email addresses from a database. In sync language base it will not be possible during this time.
If you are faced with a similar situation, please contact our support team: reviews@swiftkey.com.

The developers have assured that all is well and did not give any comments associated with the surveillance. But it is doubtful whether the addition of email addresses in the database did not get passwords from most of these e-mail addresses. If you are a user of SwiftKey keyboard or previously used, in any case, change the passwords on all services.
