Almost a month ago, Microsoft launched a set of wanting to test iOS-version of the voice assistant Cortana. And this week the program TestFlight first beta testers began to receive access to the new application.
Cortana could become a serious
competitor to Siri on iOS, and Google Now voice assistant in Android. During testing, Microsoft asks users to compare their answers to requests from other assistants according to parameters such as speed and originality of the answer. Also, beta testers offered as widely as possible to use different types of reminders and notifications, including checking their work on other platforms in conjunction with the iPhone.
Despite the fact that Microsoft's voice assistant has almost all the features of Siri, it in no way will be integrated into the system (for obvious reasons, any iOS, any Android). And that means only one thing - limit the application. For example, to cause team mates "Hi, Cortana» users will not be possible.
So far, Cortana is available for iOS only two thousand beta testers in the US and China. The public release is expected to take place very soon.
